Delivery

 

We aim to dispatch the majority of orders the same day that we receive them, however if they arrive with us after the post has been collected they may not leave us until the next working day.

Our working days are Monday to Friday. Orders received in the evening, at the weekend or on a bank holiday will be processed the next working day.

STANDARD UK DELIVERY

 

Available to addresses in England, Wales, Scotland, Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Northern Island, Isle of Man & Isles of Scilly

Our standard UK delivery service is either via Royal Mail's 2nd Class Signed For (which takes 3-5 working days) or via Parcelforce 48 Hour Express depending on the size of the parcel and is free for all orders over £30 or £4.95 for orders under £30.

1ST CLASS UK MAINLAND DELIVERY

Available to UK Mainland Addresses Only

Our 1st Class delivery service is either via Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed For Service or via Parcelforce 24 Hour Express depending on the size of the parcel.

Orders placed after 12 noon Monday- Friday, at the weekends or on Bank Holidays will be despatched the following working day. Deliveries are not made at the weekend.

NEXT WORKING DAY UK MAINLAND DELIVERY

Available to UK Mainland Addresses Only

Our next working day delivery service is either via Royal Mail's Special Delivery Service or via Parcelforce 24 Hour Express depending on the size of the parcel.

Orders placed after 12 noon Monday- Friday, at the weekends or on Bank Holidays will be despatched the following working day. Deliveries are not made at the weekend.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

Not currently available for lighting, medium & large rugs

Delivery is available to mainland addresses only and does not apply to offshore islands or territories. Couriers may also refuse delivery to particularly remote locations.

Please make your own enquiries locally with regards to any charges payable as James & May does not accept liability for any customs charges, handling fees, duty or taxes whatsoever, or for any delays that may occur if a parcel is held.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery of particularly large or fragile items. On any such occasion you will be notified and issued a full refund

CHANNEL ISLANDS

Available to addresses in Jersey & Guernsey

Delivery to the Channel Islands is either via Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For or DPD depending on the size of the parcel and takes 2-5 working days

EUROPE

£15.95

Available to addresses in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain & Sweden

Delivery to Europe is either via Royal Mail International Signed For or DPD depending on the size of the parcel and takes 2-8 working days.

USA

£20.95

Delivery to the USA is via DPD Tracked Airmail and takes 3-6 working days from despatch.

Please note that our delivery charge for the USA is based on a medium size parcel weighing up to 6.5 kg. In the event that the order placed exceeds the weight or size limit we may need to contact you to arrange payment of an additional fee for the postage.

CANADA

£30.95

Delivery to Canada is via DPD Tracked Airmail and takes 3-6 working days from despatch.

Please note that our delivery charge for Canada is based on a medium size parcel weighing up to 6.5 kg. In the event that the order placed exceeds the weight or size limit we may need to contact you to arrange payment of an additional fee for the postage.

AUSTRALIA

£30.95

Delivery to Australia is via DPD Tracked Airmail and takes 4-7 working days from despatch.

Please note that our delivery charge for Australia is based on a medium size parcel weighing up to 6.5 kg. In the event that the order placed exceeds the weight or size limit we may need to contact you to arrange payment of an additional fee for the postage.

REST OF THE WORLD

We are sorry but we currently only offer delivery to addresses in the countries listed above.

DELIVERY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please type and check your delivery address carefully as we cannot be held responsible or cover any associated losses or costs if the order does not arrive due to incorrect or incomplete addresses being provided.

Please ensure that someone is at your address to meet your parcel and sign for it.

Our couriers will make every effort to successfully deliver your parcel but, if they cannot obtain a signature or your parcel is not collected from the depot or post office within the specified timescale, the parcel may then be returned to sender. Redelivery charges will then apply.

During poor weather, industrial action or exceptional demand the stated despatch and delivery times may not apply. We will do everything we can to get your parcel to you as soon as possible but we do not offer refunds for delays.

In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hrs at sales@jamesandmay.co.uk. Please do not dispose of packing material as it may be required during the insurance claim.
